UPF Barcelona School of Management is part of Pompeu Fabra University's Continuing Education Institute Foundation, a non-profit private foundation governed by a Board of Trustees, a Governing Council, an International Advisory Council and a Council of Studies.
The Board of Trustees is presided over by the vice-chancellor of Pompeu Fabra University and is made up of UPF and an important set of companies and institutions that directly appoint the people that represent them.
The Governing Council is the ordinary governing body under the board of trustees.
The International Advisory Council is made up of deans of leading business schools and CEOs from the business world. Its main function is to advise on the development of UPF-BSM's strategy, considering current and future new trends, promote new ways of doing things and contribute to the development of the school's international dimension.
The Council of Studies is made up of people from UPF and external to UPF who have outstanding experience and qualifications in the different knowledge areas. Its function is to advise on and assess the academic program to ensure it is suited to the needs of companies and society.
