Government bodies

The UPF Barcelona School of Management belongs to the Fundación Instituto de Educación Continua de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra (UPF), a private non-profit foundation governed by a Executive Board and a Governing Council. The school also has a Board of Studies and an International Advisory Board.

International Advisory Council

The International Advisory Council (IAC) is an advisory board that strengthens and it enhances the international reputation of the UPF Barcelona School of Management.

The main functions of the IAC are:

  • Evaluate the school's strategic plan and initiatives.
  • Offer advice based on trends.
  • Suggest the implementation of new innovative practices.
  • Contribute to enhancing the international dimension of the school.

IAC members provide expert advice representing gender, geographic, cultural and disciplinary diversity. Its participants cover a multidisciplinary spectrum of roles, including academia, industry and the institution. IAC members are approved by the UPF-BSM Governing Council.
