Board of Trustees

The UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) belongs to the Fundación Instituto de Educación Continua de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra (UPF), a private non-profit foundation governed by a Board of Trustees, advised by an Internal Advisory Board, and a Governing Council, advised by a Council of Studies.

Governing Council

The Governing Council is the School’s ordinary body of representation, government and management. It reports directly to the Board of Trustees and establishes the general operating guidelines of our School.

International Advisory Council

The International Advisory Council (IAC) is a consultative body that strives to reinforce and enhance the international reputation of the UPF Barcelona School of Management.

The IAC has the following main functions:

  • Evaluating the School's strategic plan and initiatives.
  • Giving advice based on trends.
  • Proposing the implementation of new innovative practices.
  • Helping to enhance the School’s international dimension.

The International Advisory Council is formed of leading professionals with international experience, academics from associated institutions and business representatives from a range of sectors. IAC members are approved by the UPF-BSM Governing Council.

The IAC members give expert advice that encompasses gender, geographic, cultural and disciplinary diversity.

The members of the IAC are:
