Jaume Duch, Minister for European Union and Foreign Action of the Government of Catalonia, defended the European values of “democracy, the rule of law, multilateralism, human rights, and peaceful relations between states” during his speech at the Leaders UPF-BSM event, held today at the business school’s headquarters.

• Leaders of the country’s main institutions and companies attended the award ceremony for the third edition of the Public Figure of the Year Award
• The General Director of UPF-BSM, José M. Martínez-Sierra, handed the award to the Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, who presented it to Nadia Calviño
• The award was granted in recognition of her leadership at the helm of the European Investment Bank (EIB), driving initiatives with social impact and promoting sustainable development, the green and climate transition, and gender equality

The STOP Project, an initiative created by Ana Freire, Vice Dean for Social Impact and Academic Innovation at the UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM), has received funding from TikTok. This support will be used to scale the project internationally—to Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Panama—in collaboration with local foundations and governments experienced in providing free emotional support.
