On 8 July, UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) hosted the sixth edition of the Geopolitics Seminar, organised by the Olof Palme International Foundation and the newspaper El País. The event brought together diplomats, researchers, and international relations experts to reflect on the key challenges facing global security.

UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) has entered the Financial Times Masters in Finance Ranking 2026 for the first time in its history. This ranking is widely regarded as the most prestigious and demanding global benchmark in higher education for finance programs. This year’s ranking includes only 70 finance master’s programs from around the world.

The school once again appears in the Financial Times Executive Education Custom Ranking 2026, climbing 17 positions compared to 2025 and ranking as the leading Spanish business school, the third-fastest rising institution in Europe, and the seventh worldwide in terms of progression.

UPF-BSM publishes the study “The Professionalization of Family Businesses”, which analyzes the presence of formal governance, planning, and control practices in more than one hundred family-owned companies.
