The UPF Barcelona School of Management has suspended the teaching activity following the instructions from the Government of the Generalitat has transmitted to all the educational system of Catalonia in relation to the exceptional measures for the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. As of March 13, 2020, the teaching activity will be suspended at both the Balmes building and all UPF campuses, as well as the rest of face-to-face non-academic activities. The Balmes building, which is the headquarters of the UPF Barcelona School of Management, will remain open and functioning, with the necessary measures to guarantee the health of the entire community. The study rooms will be closed to the public.

Regarding the development of the teaching activity, the teaching staff will establish the necessary operating guidelines with the students. At this current time, each teacher is evaluating the most suitable options for each case. The school has made available to the teaching staff different resources for teaching in remote format.

The online programming, in principle, keeps the established school calendar with all normality.

As for the external curricular academic internship, students must follow the indications determined by the company. If it is not possible to do so because the destination institution has taken measures which make them impossible, alternative options will be assessed in each case.

The UPF Barcelona School of Management will provide information on the evolution of the situation regularly through the website and the social networks. Furthermore, all UPF-BSM community can direct their queries by telephone or through the e-mail to program managers.
