The city of Seville hosted, on the 27th and 28th May, the tenth edition of eLearnia, one of the main conferences on educational innovation and online training in Spain. The event brought together universities, business schools, and educational technology experts to share experiences, trends, and success stories in digital transformation applied to learning.
In this context, Maite Gutiérrez, Project Manager of the Digital Education Department at UPF-BSM, presented the work carried out by the school’s team in the implementation of IntelliBoard, an advanced Learning Analytics tool integrated with Moodle. During her presentation, she explained how this solution enables the collection, analysis, and visualization of data on academic activity and user interaction within the virtual learning environment.
Thanks to these capabilities, the tool enables more precise monitoring of training programs, improves the tracking of student activity, and allows the automation of communication and teaching support processes, contributing to a more efficient and personalized learning experience.
The presentation sparked the interest of several attending universities and business schools, which highlighted the initiative as an example of the strategic use of data to improve educational processes and academic decision-making.
During the eLearnia Awards 2026 ceremony, held as part of the event, the implementation of IntelliBoard at UPF-BSM was recognized as one of the most outstanding best practices in technological innovation applied to education. This recognition highlights the work of the school’s Digital Education team in promoting learning analytics–based solutions to optimize student support, improve teaching quality, and foster evidence-based academic management.
With this award, UPF-BSM strengthens its position as a benchmark in the application of innovative educational technologies and in the intelligent use of data to transform the learning experience and move toward increasingly personalized and effective training models.
