Recruiters and candidates have come together this week at the UPF Barcelona School of Management. The school’s Careers department has organised the fourth edition of Talent Boost Week, a series of events focused on the employability of UPF-BSM students.

Nestlé, Accenture, Grant Thornton, Hotusa, Mango, KPMG, Danone, Colonial, Europastry, Sony, Penguin Random House, among many other companies, were present at UPF-BSM, meeting the more than 500 students who attended the Connect with Companies event. A total of 80 companies visited the classrooms to meet candidates and carry out on-site interviews with students.

The event included a space to connect with start-ups in collaboration with Barcelona Activa and, for the first time, featured an area dedicated to third-sector organisations, together with the Taula del Tercer Sector Social de Catalunya.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in conversations with recruiters, exchanged ideas and CVs, and explored future professional opportunities in a dynamic and collaborative environment, supported by the UPF-BSM Careers team.

Ahead of the event, the UPF-BSM Employability Week kicked off with a series of preparatory workshops for students, with sessions on “Selection Processes in Europe”, “How to Improve Your LinkedIn Profile and CV”, “Trends in the Spanish Labour Market”, and “Elevator Pitch”.

“With this fourth edition of Talent Boost Week, we are consolidating this event as an essential meeting point between talent and companies, and as a key opportunity for our students to connect with the job market,” said Edith Castellarnau, Director of Careers and Students at UPF-BSM. “Today our students had the chance to showcase their profiles and receive advice from specialists in recruitment and professional development,” she added.
