At UPF Barcelona School of Management, we understand equality, respect, and the creation of opportunities as structural values of our academic and institutional project. March 8th, International Women’s Day, is a significant date, but our commitment to a more equitable, conscious, and responsible society is part of our daily work.

Within this framework, and aligned with the communication campaign developed under the concept What Is Not Taught, this initiative seeks to focus on everything that does not appear in curricula, yet shapes career paths, decisions, and professional opportunities.

We invite you to take part in a special session on March 5th, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm in the Phainon Room, led by Laia Arcones, founder of Instituto Más Mujeres, recognized mentor and LinkedIn Top Voice, and expert in equality and professional development from a gender perspective. The session will be held in Catalan.

During this session, we will explore gender biases that influence (often invisibly) our professional decisions, including the well-known impostor syndrome, and we will work on practical tools to develop a freer, more strategic, and more courageous mindset to move forward. How many of the limitations you feel in your daily life are truly yours, and how many respond to social conditioning?

This will be a participatory, action-oriented space, designed especially to highlight women’s experiences, yet open to the entire community, both staff and students, who wish to be part of this conversation.

At the end of the session, we will share a light breakfast to continue the dialogue in a more informal setting.

We continue building a school where talent can flourish freely and where equality is not only a declared principle, but a daily practice.
