The UPF Barcelona School of Management will host on June 16 the presentation of the study “Social, economic and environmental impact of TMB”, conducted by the rector of the UPF, Oriol Amat, and the researcher of the Dept. of Operations, Technology and Science of UPF-BSM, Erola Palau, with the support of the Sustainability Observatory.
The aim, explains the co-author, was to “quantify the total value” that the activity of Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) generated in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) and in Catalonia as a whole in 2019.
The event will be available for streaming and will be attended by Rosa Alarcón, president of TMB; Gerardo Lertxundi, CEO of TMB; and Miguel Ruiz, president of the Association of Urban and Metropolitan Public Transport (ATUC).
