Opening Ceremony. Academic year 25-26

The start of the academic year is always a special moment: our School fills once again with energy, enthusiasm, and diversity thanks to the arrival of new students who trust UPF Barcelona School of Management to advance their education and professional careers.

In this spirit, if you are part of the UPF-BSM community, we invite you to attend the inauguration ceremony of the 2025-2026 academic year, which will take place on Thursday, October 2, at 6:30 PM at the UPF-BSM Auditorium (Carrer Balmes 132-134). We would be delighted to have you join us for this event, which marks the beginning of a new stage full of exciting projects and challenges.

This year’s inaugural lecture will be delivered by Francesc Julià, CEO of Kave Home. Having him with us is a great opportunity: his leadership and experience in creating and consolidating a global brand from Catalonia serve as a benchmark for our students, who can be inspired by his innovative and entrepreneurial vision. The event will also feature the participation of our Director General, José Manuel Martínez-Sierra, as well as other distinguished members of our community.

This year we welcome over 1,500 students from 73 different nationalities: an international community that represents talent, diversity, and the global projection of our School.
