The UPF Barcelona School of Management hosts a new edition of the Public Figure of the Year Award, a recognition that honours individuals, companies, and organisations who, from the public sphere, work with dedication to generate a positive impact on society and to promote the values that define our school: diversity, equity, inclusion, and planetary well-being.
In this edition, the award will be presented to Ms. Nadia Calviño, President of the European Investment Bank, in recognition of her career and her commitment to a sustainable, inclusive economy oriented towards the common good.
The ceremony will take place on 14 November at 12:30 p.m. in the UPF-BSM Auditorium, and will feature the participation of Alícia Romero, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Government of Catalonia, who will deliver the statement of merits, and José M. Martínez-Sierra, General Director of UPF-BSM.
The event is open to the entire UPF-BSM community, but due to limited seating, prior confirmation of attendance is required.
