Alumni Neus Ballús wins the best direction Premi Gaudí for 'Sis dies corrents'

The  XIV edition of the Premis Gaudí awards the talent of the UPF Barcelona School of Management in a ceremony at the Oval Room of the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) . The 2022 edition, with a large female presence among the nominations, has awarded the film Sis dies corrents by Neus Ballús with five Gaudí Awards in various categories.

The third feature film by Ballús, a graduate of the degree in Audiovisual Communication at UPF, is a project driven by the Master in Creative Documentary from UPF Barcelona School of Management and produced by Distinto Films and Kinógraf .

"Women have come to the movie industry not only to do opera primas, but to stay"

The film, the chronicle of a week of work by three plumbers from the outskirts of Barcelona, ​​opted for nine awards and Best Editing. This last award was recived alongside Ariadna Ribas,  lecturer at the in Audiovisual Editing and Video Editing at UPF Barcelona School of Mangement.

In collecting the award, Ballús has vindicated female talent in cinema. "Women have come to the movie indistry not only to do opera primas, but to stay," she said.
