Where

UPF Barcelona School of Management

Forum Edita

Barcelona, the international publishing capital in Spanish and Catalan, will host for the sixth consecutive year the Forum Edita, the debate meeting on the great challenges, opportunities and problems of the world of books and publishing today.

On September 6 and 7, the UPF Barcelona School of Management will open its doors to an event organized jointly with the Gremi d'Editors de Catalunya (Publishers Guild of Catalonia) and sponsored by l'Ajuntament de Barcelona (City Council of Barcelona) and with the collaboration of EDITORS.CAT, CEDRO, the Culture Department of the Catalan Government, the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport and the Federación de Gremios de Editores de España (Federation of Spanish Publishers' Guilds).

Patrici Tixis Padrosa, president of the Gremi d'Editors de Catalunya, and Javier Aparicio Maydeu, professor and director of the Master in Publishing at UPF-BSM, will open the annual meeting, which will lead to two intense days with the participation of prestigious personalities, both national and international, in the world of books and publishing.

After last year's edition, which brought together more than 600 people through their computers -a record attendance-, had to be held entirely online due to the pandemic, this year the possibility of attending the event in person has been enabled upon registration.
