UPF Barcelona School of Management invites you to the presentation of the new book by J.J. Moreso, Professor of Philosophy of Law and former Rector of UPF.

Filosofía en el ágora is a call to take an active role in the legal and philosophical debate on the direction of politics, the defense of the democratic system, bioethical dilemmas, and the understanding of such essential values as dignity, life, and freedom. In the face of today’s complexity, Moreso advocates for a critical philosophy that analyzes reality and safeguards the rights of the most vulnerable.

The author will be joined in a roundtable discussion on the challenges of democracy and fundamental rights by:

• Jahel Queralt, Professor of Political Philosophy at UPF
• Pedro Grández Castro, Director of Palestra Editores and Palestra Europa
