Asia is the largest and most populated continent on Earth, covering about 44 million km² and containing 4.140 billion inhabitants– 61% of the world's population. The Asian economy engages 60% of the world's population, is the largest producer of food in the world and in addition to being the largest consumer, has the largest reserves of most of the minerals on the planet. 

Asia is the continent that concentrates the highest economic growth and consumes the majority of global credit, in addition to showing the highest growth in investment in science and technology, in education and in every other economic sector imaginable.

Asia's trade agreements with other regional blocs or countries have helped establish a framework the promotes the exchange of products and direct foreign investment. Cultural and historical links with the West are relatively scarce but companies have understood the opportunities provided by the growth of the economies of China, India, Korea and Japan in recent decades. Meanwhile, many companies have trialled triangular operations involving Asian, American and European partners.

  •  China. The resurgence of China, historical context and prospects for growth. Tips for engaging with China, exploring and taking advantage of business opportunities.

  •  Vietnam. Historical overview, economic situation and business opportunities.

Once you have passed the program, you will obtain the certificate of Curso en Oportunidades de Negocio con Asia, issued by UPF Barcelona School of Management.
