Timo Sohl

Timo Sohl

Senior Lecturer UPF-BSM
Director of the Business & Management Strategy Department

Timo Sohl is Director of the Department of Business & Management Strategy at UPF Barcelona School of Management. He teaches courses in Strategy and Business Economics in the MBA and MSC programs at UPF-BSM.

He holds a PhD in Management from the University of St. Gallen and graduated in Economics from the University of Heidelberg. Before joining UPF, he was a postdoctoral researcher at IESE Business School and a visiting fellow at Texas A&M University.

His research focuses on corporate strategy and examines decisions around a firm’s boundaries and profile of business lines. His work has been published in leading academic journals,...
