Business Person of the Year 2022 UPF-BSM

The UPF Barcelona School of Management will award, on Friday, November 24, the Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 Award to the executive president of Telefónica, José María Álvarez-Pallete.

This is the second edition of these UPF-BSM awards, which are thus consolidated as a benchmark annual event and are a reflection of the strong link that the business school maintains with the business community. Last year the award was given to José Ignacio Goirigolzarri, president of CaixaBank, another highly relevant figure in the Spanish business environment.

The ceremony will consist of the reading of the winner's merits and the acceptance of this recognition by Mr. Álvarez-Pallete. The event will be hosted by the journalist Ana Boadas and will feature the participation of the President of the UPF Barcelona School of Management, Prof. Jaume Casals, the Rector of the Pompeu Fabra University, Prof. Laia de Nadal, as well as the Director General of the UPF-BSM, Prof. José M. Martínez-Sierra.
