March 3rd from 12:00 to 21:30 p.m.
The Maria Canals piano competition, founded in 1954 and which will take place this year from March 19 to 30 in Barcelona, is aimed at young performers from all over the world between the ages of 18 and 30. One of the activities related to this competition is "El Maria Canals porta cua", which consists of placing grand pianos in various public spaces available to anyone who wants to play them.
One of the locations will be the lobby of the UPF Barcelona School of Management which, during March 3, will host this beautiful initiative by making a grand piano available to its students so that they can share their talent with the rest of the community.
Pompeu Fabra University has been participating for eight years, thus contributing to breaking down the social, cultural and mental barriers that exist between the majority of the population in relation to music.
We invite you to record a video of yourself playing the piano, whatever your level, age and musical style. It's very easy:
The winners of the best videos will be able to play a grand piano at the Palau de la Música Catalana!
